Embracing the virtual realm, our program was hosted online, allowing participants to engage in mentorship and discussion-based learning sessions. The program spanned from the orientation on August 3rd to the closing ceremony on August 8th, with continued mentorship extending from August 9th to December 31st.

Participants

A total of 36 secondary school participants, accompanied by 34 mentees, formed 34 mentorship pairs, fostering personal growth and nurturing meaningful connections.

Discussion Topics

Throughout the program, participants explored a range of thought-provoking topics designed to stimulate critical thinking and foster personal growth. These included the dynamics of interpersonal relationships, encompassing relationships with teachers, peers, family, and society; the multifaceted nature of learning, including different modes of learning, the Hong Kong education system, extra-curricular activities, and the challenges of public exams; and the pursuit of success and the meaning of life, encompassing defining success, overcoming trials and tribulations, and contemplating the path ahead.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mongkok Kai-kong Association Limited Chan Hing Social Service Centre for their invaluable support in promoting our program to recruit primary school participants.
